Cafe Garibaldi
Denton is culinary purgatory at best, and Tex Mex is schlepped out at more than dozen places. The quality is pretty universal (there's no comfy place to wait in purgatory) so I propose that you get your tix mix fix -- err, sorry, your tax max fax -- you know what I mean -- from a place that is unjustifiably ignored by the hundreds of customers that El Guapo's gets every night. Or ignored by that contingent of people who doesn't like to eat alone. Try it. Stare out at Elm, eat some beans and nice, and listen to the textbook-example codeswitching employed by the staff. (Academic interest in codeswitching is part of the reason why I like Tex Mex, and I'm going to assume that's universal.) Also, they serve supposedly authentic Peruvian food on Wednesday evenings, and I'd like company for that. So show up, Internet, or you'll have stood me up. I don't take rejection well, and I know what you receive packets at night.
